Originally trained in fine art, Cathy started her career in Interior design working for the Spanish Interiors company KA International. She then went on to work for Liberty heading their bespoke interior design service and set up her own design company J&D Designs in 1999.

Projects range from both traditional and contemporary country houses, City properties and hotel refurbishment projects.

Hotel projects include Calcot Manor hotel in Gloucestershire and the Painswick hotel near Cheltenham in the Cotswolds.
